linen sheets How to Space Ring Clips on Your Curtain Panel funny cushion covers

A few months ago, we got a comment asking how?to space ring clips on a curtain panel (thanks, Elizabeth!). Turns out our photography team has a super simple trick for evenly spacing the ring clipslinen sheets, so we thought we’;d share their simple hack!

Start by folding the top of your curtain panel in half and then in half again.

In one hand, you should have both ends of the panel as well as a folded end. At one ring clip to each of the ends and the in middle of the fold.

Next, place four?ring clips directly in the middle of the panel, one each piece of edge of the panel.

Finally, add two ring clips in the other edge, directly in the middle of each of the folds. You should have used 9 ring clips total!

And voilá, you now have 9 ring clips evenly spaced along the top of your curtain panel. How easy was that?

It was just a couple hours before the party when I came to the realization that I haven’t showered, made lunch, decorated the cake or started arranging flowers. I am the ultimate procrastinator, even with things I love. I always think there’s more time than there truly is. It was no time to panic, it was time to put Chris to work corralling the kids while I got to work! Sometimes I struggle with balancing my family & blog. While I wanted to slow down & create beautiful step-by-step images,?Adalyn was my priority & it was more important to make her birthday party special. It’s the hazard of creating for my family & not the blog. I hope you’ll?overlook it & enjoy?this tutorial. There’s just one day a year that you are truly celebrated, so I enjoy making it really special. When I was planning weddings, I’d often decorate the bride & groom’s chairs to differentiate them from other guests & their wedding party. The same applies for the birthday girl – a little floral chair decor?to signify that she’s the guest of honor. We often decorate a highchair for baby’s first birthday, but why not decorate a chair for a 5th or 80th birthday? It’s so easy to create, in less than 5 minutes, of course! To create your own chair decor?you’ll need:scissorsthin floral wireribbon to disguiseflowersInstructions:

Furnishing or redecorating an entire room can be a daunting task. Sometimes just adding a few pieces can completely transform a room. This year, I’m focusing on decorating one area at a time to make it more feasible & more enjoyable. We recently moved into a new {old} home & to date, I haven’t done a lot of decorating, but I wanted to alter the decor a little without spending a lot of money. First, I decided I wanted to eliminate family photos from our master bedroom. There’s plenty of room in the hallways, stairwell, family room & living room for that. I wanted to define it as a peaceful & romantic space. I think I achieved that by adding a removing a few small pieces.

Lately I have been a total sucker for wood craft tutorials. I loved the child-size ironing board and when I saw these rainbow arches I knew I was hooked.
